Wedding Packages

Just for Two Package

For couples who just wish to be married with the basic requirements of the law. Some refer to this as a Civil ceremony. This is an exchange of vows only, no fanfare, no guests, just the two of you.
This package is limited to the city of Long Beach.

Note on Choosing Packages: The level of customization needed and changes that occur can be avoided by preparation on your part. Please read through any materials that I send to you and discuss with your partner, in a general way, what you feel about what you want. This will help give me some direction when discussing your special ceremony. Once you receive the ceremony, walk through it and see if I’ve addressed all the aspects you want to include. This is the time to make corrections and/or additions. Later changes involve more preparation and, thus, an increased fee.


Custom Package
$600
For the couple who is seeking a more personalized wedding ceremony. Some people want and need to be in very frequent “control” of all aspects of their wedding and have frequent contact with me. Others want to create a ceremony that is so complex, so different, long in length or so unusual that it is obvious to everyone that there can never be another such ceremony. You may want your hand held up to the last moment. If this is the case, this is the level you should be thinking of. Your final approval must be received no later than two weeks prior to the ceremony or additional charges will be incurred. Includes unlimited emails and telephone consultations to decide what elements you want in your ceremony, custom ceremony script, and filing of the marriage license.


Exclusivity
$800
Having exclusive booking rights gives some brides the peace of mind that I have no other commitments on that day, especially if you are concerned that your ceremony may not start on time. This could also allow for a full rehearsal (up to 1-1/2 hours) on the day of the wedding, at any time after 10 a.m. but sooner than two hours before the scheduled ceremony start time, as well as saying a blessing at the reception (if desired). This is also a great option for the couples who wish to have a destination wedding. Time limit of exclusivity is 8 hours for me to be at your location.

Naming Ceremony

Some families are looking for an addition to, or an alternative to a Baptism or Christening ceremony. These families can be either non-religious or religious and are interested in including friends and relatives from multi-cultural backgrounds in a non-restrictive ceremony, or wish to celebrate the traditions of their ancestry; these families hold a Naming Ceremony.

This is an event where parents publicly welcome their children into the world and give them well wishes and blessings. Compared to a Baptism or Christening, a naming ceremony is more festive and can be held on any day of the week at any time. The child can be either a newborn or a teenager. Adopted children can benefit from this service as well. You have lovingly chosen to make them apart of your family and give them your name; here is a way to celebrate publicly.

There aren't any rules as to how many people you can invite to a Naming Ceremony. You can have a smaller event with just family and close friends, or you can have a large ceremony. The best idea is to invite friends and family who have a high respect for your belief system and that you think
